Introducing the NEW module Core HR Hub

The ability to maintain and leverage complex people data has never been more important. Many companies have disparate systems that control new hire and employee related data for direct employees and those attached to their extended enterprise. This data collection and centralization only expands for larger companies with global operations and those who have a stronger reliance on the extended enterprise or companies of any size who may be dealing with mergers and acquisitions. These organizations need innovative ways to transform their data dependencies and seamlessly and effortlessly manage a comprehensive set of employee data points.

Technomedia’s new Core HR Hub module builds upon an already powerful set of Talent Profile Management features and allows companies to orchestrate both complex inbound and outbound data interfaces, data transformations and validations. It offers:

  • The ability to create, define and support a global set of standards and data rules for any and all employee data.
  • An easy-to-use interface and visual designer tools to make even the most complex of data needs manageable.
  • User file data controls that allow you to set data entry and population controls on fields including requirements, format validations, approvals and input and update action triggers.
  • Generate administrative documents based on powerful and fully configurable templates (contract templates, membership forms, etc.).
  • The ability to manage competency portfolio, skills and other attribute data which can be integrated into employee résumés/profiles.
  • HR Meeting monitoring with the ability to manage and track employee review and disciplinary actions.

The following enhancements have also been made in each of the modules across the suite:

Administrators can now control complex candidate offer management and applicant routing as well as those attached to other pre- and post-hiring activities. Companies have the flexibility to configure these forms and processes independently, create multiple templates, or design templates with different criteria and field requirements so each can be tailored for regional and/or global needs, per division or organization, or by recruiting/hiring teams. SEO friendly features have been enhanced to make sure your career site has all the latest best practice tools and your job postings are easily optimized for search. A more robust multi-step apply process capability has been added to allow the collection of information in multiple rounds from any job seeker including questionnaires, job applications, releases, interviews and more.

A more uniformed interface has been introduced for different assessment steps across the platform which consolidate the HR Meetings and Performance Assessment processes within the same module. This will also enable Administrators to conduct follow-up procedures from a single point. Additionally, a new “Mission” assessment type was instituted to assess the performance of identified employees across targeted activities. Additional enhancements include: greater configurability for email notifications and reminders; the capability to link evaluations to assessments and training needs for development plans; improved employee eligibility interactions and competency and rating sections; as well as progressive loading functionality to streamline the follow-up activities and search results for assessments. 
The Critical Jobs feature has been enhanced to allow the assignment of the same job holder to more than one critical job. Previously, job holders could only be assigned to one critical job at a time. Also there are new enhancements to position management as well as additional downloadable formats for People Review matrix review needs. The org chart view has also been enhanced for this release giving HR and Managers a powerful tool to visualize succession plans and scenarios.
Service Pack 2 introduces a new, configurable tracking dashboard and has enhanced multi-currency support including exchange rates synchronization across the platform including several improvements for budget allocation during salary review periods. It is also easier to manage multiple campaigns in the system.
Several updates have been made throughout the user interface and configuration controls to enhance the user experience and administrative management in the Training module. This includes the ability to easily attach an evaluation when creating a learning activity; additional search filters to aid users in quickly finding available training content; added visibility of learning activity history and required training needs; updated batch import processes; and redesigns for catalog search and training needs interfaces for both Manager and Administrator functions, as well as registration approvals and those attached to classroom/equipment reservation management.

TMBI continues to be optimized with each new release to support complex reporting across both standard and Big Data repositories. In addition, a new administrative function to manage exchange areas has been added enabling Administrators to define source targets for data imports and exports.
The Communities Ecosystem has been completely redesigned inside the application. The Communities feature which is used to create and manage internal workgroups, called communities, now offers a quick way to share information with other users in easy to consume and understandable social media-like interactions (share, like, follow, comment). Public communities allow all users to view and publish text, images, videos and files; while private communities are only accessible to their members. Private communities can also be created for individual learning activities, replacing the previous workgroups feature. A badging mechanism has also been introduced to support social employee recognition. 

New block features have been added that can be configured in the News & Information section as well as a series of new blocks for displaying content on the Employee home page and Smart Assistant section. Additionally, new preformatted email alerts and notifications have been created for candidates, recruitment activities and classroom/equipment reservations. Administrators also now have greater flexibility in creating new data file templates inside the system, generating RTF templates and management domain filters used for employee and company segmentation.
